“In the 60′s Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship, Mr. Obama was a minor, a minor’s citizenship status follows their custodial parent. Mr. Obama’s mother took the oath of allegiance in Indonesia to obtain her citizenship and renounced her U.S. citizenship, she had to in order to obtain Indonesian citizenship. A mnior child’s citizenship automatically followed the parents. Then when Mr. Obama was adopted by his indonesian step father, if he was 5 or younger, he automatically took the citizenship of his adopted father, if he was older than 5, then his mother had to renounce his U.S. citizenship, again he would not have been allowed Indonesian citizenship had his U.S. citizenship not be renounced. Mr. Obama could not enroll in school in Indonesia without being a citizen. The school, upon application of a student to attend, obtained government records to prove the citizenship status and they did not allow non-Indoneisan citizenship children to attend.
When you are a minor, even back then, and you maintained a U.S. citizenship either naturalized or natural born, and you became another citizen of another country as a result of your parents, when you turn 18 you can choose your citizenship between the two countries. Please note I mistakenly read the enrollment date as January 1, 1968, when I said that Obama was 7 1/2 years old. The date was written as 1-8-68, but that is August 1, 1968, just 3 days before his 7th birthday, and still late for most children enter the 1st grade at age 6. Also I’ve learned that line 6 is the school’s kindergarten class, so it appears that little Barry had to repeat kindergarten in Indonesia, which put him a grade behind his friends in Hawaii. Upon his return, he entered the 5th grade, when he should have been entering the 4th. Perhaps this is why he never learned how many states we have?

Obama entered into the Roman Catholic, Franciscus Assisi Primary School, in Jakarta, Indonesia, on January 1, 1968, registered under the name Barry Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen whose religion was listed as Islam.
He was registered in school as a Muslim and demonstrated his ability to chant praise to Allah in impressive Arab-accented tones even as an adult. Just as he has not disavowed his “uncle” Jeremiah, neither has he disavowed his Muslim faith that he was born into, raised with, celebrated and never abandoned. He just covered it over with a thin veneer of his own self-styled “Christianity.”
In 1971, Obama enrolled in the Besuki Primary School, a government school, as Barry Soetoro, Muslim.

Presidential candidate drops line in interview discussing his belief

Slip of the tongue or momentary confusion? In a television interview today discussing his religion, Sen. Barack Obama stated, “My Muslim faith.”
Obama, speaking to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week,” was talking about what he described as “smears” that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian.
“Let’s not play games,” Obama stated. “What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come.”
Stephanopoulos immediately interrupted Obama, stating, “Christian faith.”
“My Christian faith,” Obama quickly said. “Well, what I’m saying is that he (McCain) hasn’t suggested that I’m a Muslim. And I think that his campaign’s upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I’m not who I say I am when it comes to my faith — something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time.”
The statements came amid an exchange in which Obama accused Republicans of spreading “lies” that he is a Muslim. McCain, though, has strongly condemned such accusations.
“These guys love to throw a rock and hide their hand,” Obama said.
But Stephanopoulos corrected the Illinois senator, stating, “The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim connections.”
Obama replied: “I don’t think that when you look at what is being promulgated on Fox News, let’s say, and Republican commentators who are closely allied to these folks.”
“But John McCain said that’s wrong,” Stephanopoulos shot back.
Obama’s momentary slip was immediately picked up by scores of Internet blogs.
Obama ‘quote religious in Islam’
Obama has long denied he was ever a Muslim. His campaign site states: “Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian.”
Obama wants to give a driver’s license to ANY illegal alien who wants one. The 9-11 plot depended on such licenses.
