@4everUSNavy First off, the loyalists during the revolutionary war were loyal to monarchy, not their own government. Second, the patriots were not only protesting taxes, but also protesting the British infiltration of their land. And the taxes they were protesting were often repealed by Parliament, but they continued the revolution anyways.
Can you give me a specific example of something you would consider “stupid to tax”? And please, let’s make it legitimate. Not some fictitious slur.
