He’s better than Greenspan, but that’s not saying much. Even if Bernanke is just “meh”, we can still easily prefer him over a libertarian.

@noyouaintgettingit That doesn’t seem to align with how people actually work – if you look at many of the most interesting regulations we have, they serve a definite purpose. Lifting these restrictions likely would pull us back towards where we were before them (and where less-labour-rights nations are today). While our govt programs may not be as good as they could be, we’re better off with them as a whole than without them. Coercion is a red herring. We have duties to each other in society.

@noyouaintgettingit i agree with him on most things, but i live over sea’s i live in italy right next to the american base here camp darby. now i can honestly say without bases over sea’s alot of americans will be at risk, we wouldnt be able to get out of the country during horrible times, there are so many other reasons we need bases over sea’s. also with the troops that are here in italy, they sometimes take post in pisa and help the american tourist (such as i) and also are very kind.
